Change pixels, keep control

  1. Choose one still JPG or PNG, up to 20 MB and 24 megapixels.
  2. Set width or height in pixels, or scale both sides by a percentage. Keep the ratio locked to avoid stretching.
  3. Resize, inspect the result dimensions, then download in the original format. The original file is unchanged.

How the dimensions work

A 2400 × 1600 image becomes 1200 × 800 at 50%. That is one quarter of the pixel count, not a promise of one quarter of the file size. With the ratio locked, a width of 900 gives a height of 600.

Do pixels and KB mean the same thing?

No. Pixels describe width and height; KB describes file size. A smaller image can still exceed a KB limit. Use the compressor if you need a target file size; it exports JPG and flattens transparency.

Will a transparent PNG stay transparent?

Yes. PNG input is saved as PNG with transparency. JPG input is re-encoded as lossy JPG. Encoding and appearance may vary by browser; source metadata is not copied.

Can I enlarge an image without losing quality?

Enlargement is off by default. You can enable it within the output limits, but interpolation cannot recover missing detail. This is not an AI upscaler.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Decoding, resizing and downloading happen in your browser. Only the site files are fetched. Changing tools or languages clears the current image; there is no batch processing or support for HEIC, GIF, WebP or SVG.
